I hope all is well with you. I just wanted to write you and let you know that I think I’ve found it with this strategy! I’ve been trading since 2019 and have been very inconsistent. My strategy has mainly been supply and demand zones. Those are respected often times until they are not. When I stumbled across your strategy last year, I wasn’t a believer. I would always trade your strategy along with my supply and demand strategy but it would never work out the way I wanted too consistently. A couple of weeks ago, I decided to put everything else down and give your strategy a fair shot. Since I’ve been trading it exclusively, it’s been amazing! The predefined risk along with confirmation before entering is game changing. I’ve seen many strategies over the years, but this by far gives me the most confidence that I can make daily income. It is amazing how price bounces off of these EMA’s and shoots to targets. Hello Ray,
Wanted so share a screenshot of trading the MES at 2 to 3 contracts per. I had mostly all winners and only two losers (in hindsight I found out why losers, was not with the trend enough). Realized 103.75 on my first live day. My Sim account I started with 1000.00 and that is now at 4235.00. I used basically just 34B’s (trending only, no counter trends) and pivot bounces only on live account today. Kept targets low at and stops equal to targets plus a few ticks, mostly even 1 to 1 trades. To think if this was the ES instead of the MES…. One day! �� thanks for everything, lots to learn still! You were really right about the aussie.
In days where the emini is moving in a 15 point range or less . The 1 tick renko provides many trades just enough . And the trends on the anchor chart are wonderful. Oddly enough i started trading forex on the aussie in 09. I had closed all my stock trades before the financial crisis and found forex as something i could work with while the markets were tanking. I had some very big profits. Once i turned 500 to 30k in a week and a half. But it was not a consistent way to work. Heavy leverage i knew nothing about risk management. Late nights very emotional.

So its great to come back to currencies with your system based approach in futures. Its brilliant actually that i can get the same effect same tight spreads without the ES. I can just wait for the ES to break out of its rangemeaningfully before i switch back to it.

I was an amateur commodity (mainly currency and metals) hobbyist speculator 30 years ago, when I needed a plug-in lock/key on my laptop to run TradeStation. I subscribed to The Day Traders Fast Track Program on Feb 8 of this year. Joined the Private Coaching Program on Feb 23 and began to focus on the T20 and 34B in relation to my one favorite stock. Hi Ray,

You may recall, I mostly trade 2Bs, 1Bs and T20s on the NQ using both Renko and tick charts in TradeStation.

I’m very, very fond of these strategies and am so grateful to you for sharing them with me, along with all your helpful tools and hints about TS. I’ve honed my skill at avoiding chop and beefed up my courage at jumping in when I see a set-up.

These past 2-3 weeks have been challenging for me, probably everyone else, as well. The NQ has become essentially untradeable during regular trading hours, so I hopped back into the sim to take a look around. I like gold and oil, but eventually, I decided to stick with NQ, trade only in the Globex session but using my regular trading hours settings instead of my Globex settings.

It works. The Globex is fast enough now for decent volatility, especially around 8:00 pm and 9:00 pm EST when the Asian and Hong Kong markets open.

So, I have a few hours in the evening after I arrive home from work and a couple hours each morning in the pre-market.

Then I have the rest of the morning free until I arrive at work at noon. Sometimes simple adjustments are all that is required when big things change, especially with good strategies that “work in all markets and all
time-frames” as I’ve heard somebody say many times. So true!

Today, I started paper trading the ES using the 233 tick on Globex and London session with good success. I switched to 1600 for NY session and took several trades. I am using 2B, 34B, 89B, and 200B and sometimes pivot bounces.

My results were 18 trades with 15 winners and 3 losers for 83% Winners and 17% Losers trading just 1 contract. The total gain was $1445. I did have one CL trade in the total for $70. I just wanted to see what it was like. I could have made more if I had let some of the trades run.

Hi Ray,

I have been enjoying the June coaching videos, and greatly appreciate the affirmations, NLP, and trading psychology – very good to know that broken traders can fix themselves with a little help. I don’t think I had realised how broken I was. My osteopath is also keen for me to have an hour of power and move about a lot more.

I have had a flood of “aha” moments this week. This first week I have been “paper” trading (actually using Excel). So that is using Tradestation charts to learn to spot the 2B and 34B patterns as they form, and make quick decisions on whether to trade them, and if so work out stops and targets, etc. To get the most out of it I have been “scalping the crap” out of the ES and CL Globex (UK morning) and NY open.

I know my results are not at all real, with no slippage or fumbling the trade entries, but in +100 trades I have made a paper profit of almost $5,000 trading one contract watching both the ES and CL charts, with most trades coming from the CL charts. That includes the slow days of the 4th July and very fast Friday after the NFP. So I can see the huge potential of the strategies.

I am looking forward to the start of the next coaching session. I do struggle with the times, but I will endeavor to join as many live sessions as I can – well worth staying up for!

I’m intently working my way through your course, it’s fantastic. As my trading style matures, I seems to be adopting a trading plan of working on the one hour charts with the four hour chart being my anchor. However, prior to this I was working on this five minutes and the 10 minute candlestick chart using the 34B and the 8 EMA, as my indicators to go long or short.

Didn’t really see where your response was – it must have been really brief haha. Anyway I just wanted to say that I have had one (of the many to come) ah hah moments! Largely it has to do with pattern recognition and what a trade set up looks like. Additionally how important it is to stick to the rules! The best set-ups I have found are T18, 34B when the EMA’s are aligned and after a sustained run where the 8EMA has been respected the T20 is very powerful! Cheers for the knowledge and hopefully I can keep learning and hopefully earning 😉

I thought I would drop you a line to say thank you. I spoke to you quite a few months ago
and then followed your advice. I changed platforms to TS and went back to a demo
account and I have been trading for a few months now. Initially I didn’t know why I just
wasn’t “getting it” again and again I thought I was doing the right thing. I wasn’t !

The penny dropped. I stopped and did the following.

1. Set up three screens and have a sub EC, an EC and a AC. Works well.
2. Trading CL only with two strategies. The 34B and the T20/T20-1
3. Set your rules, printed them out, stuck them to my screen and read them prior to
trading
4. Read the Mark Douglas book. The Disciplined Trader.
5. Stuck to your/my rules.
6. Logged what I was doing and why I did it.
I have been profitable now for two weeks. I WILL join the 5% club.

I have to tell you, I can not understand how you are giving that course away for $197.

The information you are giving out I would not charge less then $10,000.00. I added a lot of your techniques into my system. It has helped so much.

What people don’t understand is, after you learn and have a nice size account, they can put an easy $1000 a day in their pocket.

You have put together something really special for us. If anyone wants to learn how to trade, I cant emphasize enough how amazing the course is.

Ray, Hooray! I’ve watched most of your videos and just tonight stumbled on the T20, 8EMA. It’s now mine — my favorite. I’ve used the 8EMA for years in my option trading, and I’ve often wondered why I couldn’t just use it as my strategy. I needed your permission before I could adopt something so simple and so straightforward. That, along with your basics, and I’m set. T20, NQ, love the pre-market. That’s it. I’m set. I have been in this business for 31 years. I started an investment management firm in 1987 (in April before the October crash) and eventually built it into a bank, trust company, brokerage firm, family of mutual funds and a hedge fund. I was successful enough to comfortably retire at 39 – 20 years ago in April – and I have never looked back.
My investment approach had always been a bit slower than yours, and more macro. The shortest time frame I ever “traded” was the nominal 10-day wave in the stock indices. I have spent most of my retirement consulting and mentoring others in the banking and investment management industries.

I was doing some research recently, with the goal of bringing my trading into a shorter time frame, and stumbled onto one of your videos. I was impressed, to say the least.

When I saw that you offered a training course for $197, I must admit I was skeptical that something so inexpensive could be valuable or that there would be some other catch or upsell. I thought you’d like to hear of my results today.

Firstly, today I only traded when there was a trend. I have been a terrible “over trader”…that is until now. The fear of missing a great trade was greater than the gamble to take one.

Secondly, I used 1:1 ratio. I used to constantly move my stop further out. I found myself just now moving it tighter as I couldn’t exit in profit from my last trade before the red flag news on the euro.

Third, I will now live and trade by this….”I’d rather see a trade I’d like to be in, rather than be in a trade I’d like to be out of”. Simple stuff I know but I have struggled till now loosing about $40k to the market. Let’s call it “education”.

I really can’t believe how simple just the 34b is. It’s all I traded today. I also have learned that in Brisbane I am best to look at the charts from about 4pm to see what the trend is doing and get ready for a few hours. I am using a 3 range on only the AUDUSD, EURJPY, EURGBP and the EURCAD as it seems they do not correlate. I am looking on another screen at the 5min onwards.

Anyway, see my results below. I am looking forward to building on these next week.

So I signed up for the fast track.  I am blown away from the amount of content and the quality of the content.  I watched a couple videos, applied what I learned about the super scalper to my existing “not very good scalping  system” and made 3 winning and 1 losing trade. ( on sim ) and the loser was my fault and I placed the stop in the wrong place.  Normally I would have been break even or down 1. I want to say,  I started trading real money this past week the 34b,  89b,  200b,  and T-20. I want to give you the biggest thanks,  I made 900 dollars in 3 days.  I did about 8 trades only 1 lost.  I have a serious question I noticed,   and this caused me a lost.  When I seen a t-25 everything look perfect for a change in the market,  the 8 ema went through the 34 heading to the 89b,  and Macd going downward from overbought,  it went down few pips and turned against me,  and the Eur/USD continued upward making new high’s.  Anyway I got out the trade and went long and made good money it turned out to be a T-89 bounce. But I didn’t loose much only 1 percent.

This came at the best time,  I’m out of work and needing money so much,  finding you to teach has been a blessing.

Since studying a few (2-3) of your set ups / methods, my record is 114 wins, 43 losses and 4 scratch trades.  I know this will only get better as the last few weeks my stats have really changed for the better.  Partly because Ive studied more and am picking better trades, and partly because the primitive side of my brain is quieting, and I’m not trying to go against the trend.  It makes me laugh because you talk about the perils of CT trading in the beginning, but it took a while to sink in…… You’re spot on about the psychology of it all.

I’m practicing my NLP techniques as they are helping a lot too.  Thanks for turning me onto that as well.

I am interested in personal coaching at some point so if you can let me know how that looks when you get a chance??  That would be great.  I’m well and truly obsessed by this and am putting in the hours / screen time

Hi Ray, used your Super Scalper (T1) today in live trading. As you already know today was very slow with a lot of over lapping bar which makes it tough to say the least

Your T1 is similar to my Arrow Signal which fires almost the same time. Using your T1 gives a slight advantage with entry. I’ve calculate that I have added 30 plus ticks overall. I’m holding my trades longer but I still enjoy scalping around the 13EMA and 5EMA and its envelope.

I was so-so today, a total of 130 + your 30new tick gave me 160 total ticks for the day per contract. I’ve increased my contracts from two to five since we last talked on Skype. I’m happy with your T1. I’ve developed a set of rules to go with your T1.

I’ve test driven it under every condition. Man, I’ve dissected your T1 even you would say, “John, it’s not meant to do that” Hahaha!

If you chose to share it with your class feel free, some Ninja users might see some usefulness.

How are you? Finished my 90 Days and have also reduced my Trading Hours by 50%!

I’m at my charts from 6:30am (GMT) until 11 or 12noon (absolute latest), my target is 4 20 to 30pips trades each morning, if the trade goes on to make 50, 75 or 100+pips I do not give a jot!

So I’m probably only live in the market for 3 maybe 4 hours each day, this is one of the many things I’ve learned from your ‘Trading Style’.

Made a killing today inside 90mins, 4 trades and I was finished by 9am, nothing magic, I just followed the System and My Trading Rules. T20’s on gbp/aud, gbp/jpy and eur/jpy, then a beautiful T34 on gbp/cad, saw it like a beach ball (to use a cricketing talk…) lol.

Firstly thank you for the awesome teaching and I am having great success with the 34B, 89B and 200B methodologies. I am trading the ES and have changed from the 5 min charts to 2 Range charts. I have found the the speed of the 550 tick charts a bit too fast during NY hours. However, the 2 range chart candles while ok for trading are a little bit spaced from each other and just today I had a look at the 4 range and they seem better aligned.

What is your best recommendation for the ES Range chart setting.

I am a big cycles guy, used time charts all the time.  There are a few
numbers that stand out, one of them is 4.

So the set-up that caught my eye is the paint bar or scalper being the
set-up.  The trigger is 4 bars later pulling back over the ema.

So I took any trades on  the /es  133 tick the other day that had a
similar set-up.  Near 27 trades, over 80% winners depending on your
profit targets, stop loss, etc.  Over 10 points profit just using this
one set-up!

So basically SS+4, unbelievably set-up.

My TOS platform basically nailed all of them on the money, the
Ninjatrader 133 tick has more bars so just had to look for the cross
of the ema in the opposite direction to pull the trigger.  That cross
almost acts as a safeguard for getting in a trade too late and having
too big of a stop, if that makes sense.  It keeps your stop “tight”
and lets you get in the trade early as far as price is concerned.  And
most move in price are an (a)(b)(c) anyway, so you are buying or
shorting the B into the c so to speak.

I also tested this on /NQ, /CL, and GC.  Excellent winning ratio on
the 133 tick.  I love it.

I used to do something similar on time based charts.

End of Day for me is 2pm to 2:30pm EST (I live in Seattle, but live on EST).  I had some trouble today in the AM, but made it up in my End of Day trades.  This is still new to me in terms of your system, but I have been a pattern day trader since 2009, so I am in sync.

You can see I like to scalp, and my goal over time is to stay in using the ……in time. Still working on entries.  I also use the 400 tick chart for the CL as well.

The 34B and the T20 are just beautiful set ups and a great way to see the market for me.  Your insights have been the difference for my trading.

I have been doing a lot of Back Testing on Forex Charts Only for about 7 months ( Love them)… I have back tested on the following Currencies

USDJPY  (Best for me at the moment the 34B, T3, T25 are a joy on this ) average of 80% to 84% winning rate

AUSUSD  (Volumes very low at times but Trend trading is Sweet)  average of 80% to 84% winning rate

one advantage is to wait 30mins after Economic News (Trading is fantastic during this time)

USDCAD (Trades well but very choppy recently after the US elections)

Trades well during US session due to Volumes, Canadian and Oil News

The 34B and T3 is awesome on all this currencies and can also be supplemented with the T25

I don’t want to flood you with emails but I’d like you to know that I’m on track 🙂

I’d also like to give you a quick overview over my first week of trading with your BRILLIANT strategies.

I started to gather information about daytrading (and also to learn the basics) one month ago.
Started to learn your program at 1st of December, started to trade with your program on the
5th of December. (Practicing 10-12 hours a day. I know thats maybe to long, but I love it and I
want to learn quickly. Later – in serious trading I will become calmer of course 🙂 )

1st attachment – daytrades checklist:
As you can see I started with all the mistakes and faults I could make – of course without knowing
every single “substrategy” of the course so far.
On the 4th day (8th Dec.) I thought I got the basic rules, had the first “AHA”, and even improved.
The next day – starting as a profi-trader now, nowing everything, being the best already 🙂 – I tried
to catch the first trend (in pre-opening and opening times of the Frankfurt stock exchange, FDAX) – and I lost
9 in a row because I was stopped out. Until I recongnized that there was no trend so early in the
morning – I catched every little move in a sidetrend because the market did not decide the
direction so far.
And then I had the 2nd AHA…. AHHHAAAA – a trend appeared and I got it with trade no 10
(the red crosses are bad, the green ones are good trades… by the way). And look what happend….
6 trades in a row – according to your rules and strategies. All in all less then 20 a day, but 6 good
ones! HA! 🙂 Patience and dicipline… muscles I have to train! 🙂

When I started trading, I decided to teach myself. Obviously I was confused, and there were so many indicators to learn about. Eventually, I was making 1 out of 2 trades, some days 2 out of 3 with a win/loss ratio of 3:2, trading off of SMA’s 50, 100, 150, and 200 with Fisher Transform as an oscillator for divergence. The inconsistency was driving me nuts. Knowing there was something better out there, I searched for and found your Fast Track Program. I studied the information on the T1, T2, T10, as well as the 34B, 89B, and 200B. After reviewing them several times a day for just three days, I am already making at least 7 out of 10 trades (on simulation on the ES). Thanks to your advice on the 8 EMA, I am conscious of exiting the market earlier than before: my losses are sometimes in the green by a tick or two. I have done my practice. I am confident about going live tomorrow. Your exact strategies are the most powerful information I have received in my life.

I’ve had your stuff for now for three weeks and I am in the process of working my way through fast track, I’ve been a trader for a  little over two years.. I have been studying the training videos, reading the PDFs, and using the setups in my sim account on TradeStation for the past 4 weeks. I’m already convinced that the system is “insane”! I am specifically focusing on the T25 setup, and it’s giving me fantastic results, even though I’m in the early innings of learning to master it. The potential is unlimited, and I’m in the process of testing on different time frames, and many different futures markets.

To give some background, I took trading classes here in Los Angeles, and the strategy they use is a good system. I just think the trades setups I’m learning now may be substantially better than what we were taught at the classes. Regardless, I’m sold, and I will be spending a lot of time practicing and studying your trading philosophy.

I was wondering if some of your members in the LA/Orange County/San Diego areas have local groups, where they get together to discuss trading.

I will have specific trading questions as well the more practice trades I set up and videos I watch. For now, I want to say thank you for giving your students a path to trading success.

T1, T2, and T10 virtual trading has been going very good. I’ve been virtual trading the ES 5 minute chart since current software has no tick or volume based tracking. Per my trading plan, I’ve been pretty conservative in viewing my step ups and thus average now about 4-5 good set ups a day. The trends have been so strong this week that I’ve 12 winners and 1 loser, (missed my target by a tick). Anyway, as soon as my tradestation acct is set up, I’ll import the indicators, and do a little more virtual trading with the new system and then take the next step in my new career.

I imagine you probably work with thousands of traders and I’ll admit to being just a small fish. Still, your program, your teaching methodology, and your personal touch has been a wonderful experience. I WILL be joining you and the rest of the snipers in the 5% club!

I’ve been meaning to write and let you know that your program has been the made a world of difference in my trading.  I have had years of fundamental and core training and still struggled to be consistently profitable.  Your program was like the icing on the cake for me.  It just made it all come together.

I have also adopted the “Get In, Get Out, Get Paid” philosophy and on that note have a quick question for you, if you don’t mind.

I’ve been using a 133 Tick chart and find it very easy to consistently make money on high volume days, but on days with lower volume I get messed up.  Do and/or could you use a smaller time frame chart on the slower days and maintain consistency.  (Keeping all other rules the same and relative, of course.)

I know it may sound like a dumb question but I’ve been meaning to email and thank you for you system anyway.

For the past 2 weeks I have been trading this strategy exclusively on a 3 contract basis and have been averaging about 800 dollars in net profit per day. It is a price action based trading strategy using your Fibonacci Moving Formula (at least that’s what I’ve gathered it to be considering the bar counts in question: 8EMA, 34EMA, 89EMA) coupled with fractal breaks. I’ve heard many traders say that fractals are not nearly as significant on a per unit basis on smaller time scales. This is thought to be due to the fact that the dramatically increased number of fractals produces a lot of false entry signals. The goal of this strategy is to reduce the number of said false entry signals by weeding out the specific fractal breaks that are significant. Now while I still have many bugs to work out, what I have noticed while using this strategy is that many times it allows me to enter a trade at the inception of a trend.

NOTE: I have only traded this strategy on a NQ 150 tick chart. Perhaps there is a superior market or setup to trade this on… This is part of the reason I am contacting you. 😛
